Maureen Sullivan Christine is the former Division Chief of the St. Johns County State Attorney's Office. A graduate of Duke University and Stetson College of law, Maureen concentrates in the areas of criminal law, civil trial practice, criminal appeals, civil appeals, family law, and professional license defense. She is a former Chief Assistant State Attorney where she handled the most complex and the highest profile prosecutions in St. Johns County. Maureen also was Senior Attorney for the District at the Department of Professional Regulation handling cases regulating physicians and medical personnel.
She served as Managing Senior Attorney for the Department of Children and Families, 1989-1992. Maureen received the Governor Lawton Chiles Commendation in 1996 and has been active with the Sexual Abuse Intervention Network, serving as an instructor for the Interdisciplinary Rape Training Institute. She was a Governor Jeb Bush Appointee, 2000-2008, to the Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission helping select judges throughout St. Johns, Putnam, Flagler and Volusia Florida counties.
